Close Meeting of Orders, Meeting of the Court Services Meeting, Wednesday, February 11, 26,630, First Order of Business is a prayer, I'll take care of that. Heavenly Father, we We praise you and we thank you for bringing this group together tonight. Submitting us with the time, please give us courage and direction as we do the important county business. Second order is approval of the agenda. Can I get a motion? I'll make a motion to approve the agenda. Second. Okay, a motion by Ms. Williams, second by Mr. Busker. Any discussion? Hearing none. All those in favor say aye. Aye. Those opposed, same sign. Motion passes. We go on to the review and approval of the meeting minutes January 7th, 2026. Can I get a motion? I'll make a motion to approve the meeting minutes from January 7th, 2026. Second. Second by Mr. Meester. Any discussion? Discussion. Seeing none, all those in favor say aye. Aye. Those opposed, same sign, motion passes. 5.0 Approval of claims. Can I get a motion? Motion to approve. Motion by Hadley. Second. Second by Mr. Busker. Did anyone, if nobody, everybody's already looked at them. Is there any discussion? Seeing none. All those in favor say aye. Aye. Opposed? Same sign. Motion passes. Public comments? Seeing none. Reports to committee. Judge Hauser. I didn't see a report by judge. I see it doesn't help when I have it on agenda on the computer. Thank you. Excuse me one minute. Okay. We'll send a report in. To give you a note of that. Gene on there. Dr. McGee is not here. So, we'll send a report in to get a little bit more of that. Gene on there. Moving on to probation. Dr. McGee is not here. She also sent in a report. Good evening, everyone. You have our report. I'd be happy to answer any questions about about that, but we moved some freights in January, just pointing out the felony offenses, 26 new, open, 62 closed. So that's a lot of the November, December backlog getting cleared off there. Our previous Victim and Witness Coordinator has achieved her 7-11 temporary law license and she's begun practicing as a 7-11 licensed law clerk in misdemeanor court, so we're all very proud of the work that she's done and glad that she's in a position to help out. We've hired a new Victim and Witness Coordinator to replace her, that's a woman named Allison O'Rourke. She's in the process of getting her master's degree in social work. She got her bachelor's degree at Champaign Urbana and moved to the area with her husband. And she's come into a trial by fire. Her first two weeks here, we've had a trial, a serious trial, two weeks in a row. But she seems to be doing well. She hasn't batted an eye at Stan Lake. And is getting along well with everyone. With that, I'd be happy to answer any questions anybody may have. I do have a question. Sure. On your report, the juvenile abuse and neglect. Is that, I mean, if that's actually child abuse, is what you're, yeah, so, okay. Like juvenile crime is like juvenile delinquency, that's the word right above it. Abuse and Neglect is DCFS cases where children are either removed from the home while the parents go through remedial measures or the children remain in the home and the parents will work with DCFS to rectify things. Well, that's what it all is. Okay. Let me open some. Sometimes there's multiple children in one family. Usually, it's not just one child that's removed. If you've got a household with five kids and there may be only abuse or neglect of one, but all five go, you know, but if it's not safe for one, it's not safe for any of them. That's it. Yeah. We're still working on our e-citations this weekend. It got off to a little rough start, but we're working out those kinks. The Sheriff's Office has been writing tickets, free board has paused for a moment, so we move back on. Yeah, there's not a whole lot in here. Do you have any questions? Yep, I see it's tax season again. So I see we got $103 and 88 cents in. So when do we see a lot of that come in generally? So maybe a little bit because they'll get a notice and I think they have 30 or 45 days to check to it. Check to it and then if they don't object then it's us. There is a little waiting. Okay. Thank you. Okay. Well, thank you, Chanel. Appreciate it. I'll move on to 7.6, Youth Diversion Fees. The last deposit was $648.55, giving us a grand total of $9,941.30. Fence. So that is moving along night's sleep. Old Business 8.1, Review and Approval of Use Perjury Funding Applications. And Georgia did make the small change that we asked for. She puts the 501C3 status on there. And it looks, you know, we've got, it has to be under 18, you know, children or juveniles that are not in the court, you know, in court, some situation right now, and under 18. So I think that satisfies the question Are you happy with the format now? Yes, I have a motion to approve. All right. Going to get a second. Second. Any further discussion? Seeing none. All those in favor say aye. Those opposed, same sign. So that motion passes. And Scott, that does not have to go to the board, right? Does not. Okay. Thank you. Trust release, that's all. Is that a separate? There's a separate trust release. Okay. All right. Oh, this one. Okay. So it's just a different form. Do you mail this? Generally, we send it to the media and email group that we have. There's a media list. Can you provide us the media list? Did we make a change to that? Just the dates. I was going to say I'm pulling it up for you. You need to approve that then? Yes, okay. Motion to approve. Can I get a second? Yes, I'll give a second. I'll give you a second. I'll make it. April 1st, fall 26th. Okay. Just kind of explains where the funding goes from and making the announcements so that our local nonprofits can start flying. Okay. And Nicole, the funding and your grant comes to $5,000. Yes. All right, well, all those in favor say aye. Aye. Well, opposed, same sign. Hearing none. That motion passes. Oh, I was just going to say, if I can add, I will have me update the website before I send out the release so that the new application is up before, before we have it sent. Move on to new visits. I see none. Next would be adjournment. Are we going to get a motion? Motion. Motion by Mr. Buster. Second. Second by Mr. Hadley. All those in favour? Aye. Those opposed? Same sign. Thank you very much. Thank you. And direct advice. Thanks again for committing that. It's not done. I need to draft a new subversion. Thanks, W. But I might need to try and produce a version of things that stop you from all of this.
