I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Please call the roll. Ted Odendahl. Here. Kathy Wilken. Here. Kathy Altensey. Here. Kevin McIlwain. Patrick Sellers. Here. We have a quorum. The first order of minutes, approval of minutes for the May 4th, 2026 meeting and the motion of the second please. I'll make the motion. Second. Motion second. Second. Please make the motion if you haven't done so already. I do want to let you know that I found an error, Kathy found an error, Kathy Wilken. Thank you for that. And where it says the trustee's report, it's supposed to say YMCA on there, so it was a typo. Do you see what I'm talking about? Yes. On eight. Yep. In the trustee's report. And not? Until done at the YMCA in Highland. I had, I'm not sure what I had. W. W-O-M-C-H. It's close. It's an alphabet. And not that I don't like the name Kathy. Yes, what is it? You want Kathleen? Could I please? Sure, Are there any more questions or comments on minutes? Seeing that there are none, all in favor? Aye. Any opposed? Motion carries. I have a question. Yes. So the Benning group bills you after the fiscal year is over with, right? Altensey, Barb, Barbara, Billie, Altensey, Pat, Patrick, Altensey, because when they came and got our information I think they would have done with our audit within a couple of days because you know all the clerk books is really working for us. It's really you know keeping in touch with the other journal entries and all that stuff is they get everything nice and nice and tight so I'm very happy about that. Any more questions or claims on the mat? Seeing that there are no, Madam Clerk, please call the roll. Wilken? Aye. Altensey? Aye. Odendahl? Aye. Sellers? Aye. Motion passes. I want to hand out our, I think our final expenditure budget report. I think, yeah, this is our final one. Before we started the new budget, the Boys and Girls Club received their funding, and so they were very thankful. Thank you all for that. That was a nice picture. I stayed out of it because I'm in enough pictures to always, everybody else can be in one. Not on the post office wall yet. I'm not there yet. Or the milk cartons or the cereal boxes. I know I was supposed to have numbers for you guys, but I don't have the right ones that I want. I get Operation Jumpstart numbers. I know we've added new people from January to April, 39 new people, but I want a total number from the time the program started to date. So I gave him wrong instructions. You have to adjust the numbers again to me. I have those to you for the next meeting. And if I'm not mistaken, we are at 21 clients. We haven't had any Any terminations as of yet, but there are community work and training assignments that are going to be starting up and that's usually when we have our terminations. So I will keep you posted more and more on our numbers, but that's where we are right now. Okay. What else? I got a chance to speak with Rebuild Together, Stevenson County spokesperson or Pastor Fairland. And we discussed the possibility of Township helping again with funding for their project. I know they're working with the yield program which we built together with Stevens County and I know the last time we did this we asked that the funds are used in the 5th and 7th Ward. I mentioned that to him again and he said that is doable again. So my goal is to have some information, not information, an agreement ready for the next board meeting to look at and discuss and all that good stuff. If you have any questions, let me know and if I need to have Pastor Framon there, he can come here and answer any questions. Would you guys like that? Yes. Sure. Okay. I will email him and have him at our next meeting, which is May. June 1st June 1st, which is June 1st. I'll have him here for June 1st. Okay. Please remind me, for my minutes, what, Pastor Fairman, what is he? Rebuilding Together, Steenas County. Okay, thank you. Let me see. I think that's, that's, any questions for me? Okay, the next on the list is the Assessor's Report. Assessor. So last year I consulted with an appraiser for industrial and strip centers and this year I am consulting with one for hotels and gas stations. Those are difficult to break out based on sale prices due to personal property that's involved, business expenses, but they don't break out on the transfer declarations so I am I'm going to be consulting with an appraiser on those, and so you will see a bill come through on those like we did last year. So do you think with gas stations, are a lot of them, it used to be a lot of them were owned by people that lived in the area. You know, it wasn't like the Shell Corporation or Mobil, but I don't think that's done so much anymore. Yeah, you have Shell, you have Casey's, you have Muggles. Yeah, they're all corporations. A lot of them are, yeah. Yeah, because back in the day there was a lot of things that they could hide from. What makes you think they're not now? I didn't say anything. I'm not going to go there. So, that's all I have. All righty. The next order of business is the trustees report, trustees. Yeah, did you get my email Barb? And Barb. No, what email? They didn't catch, there was a typo in the minutes. Yeah, we talked about that before we came. Okay, all right. I fixed it. I'm not, so just told everybody that it should be Y instead of W. All right. I'm glad you caught that. Congratulations, Kathleen did too. Great job guys. Anything else trustees? The next other business is and the public comments in the public comments, seeing that there aren't any business coming for the town. Seeing that there's no business coming for the town, I intend most to adjourn until Monday, June 1st, 2026 at 4:30 PM So moved. So moved. I'll second it. Unless you want it. Go for it. Okay. I took it. Okay. All in favor. We're not going to fight over it. Any vote. Okay. The meeting is adjourned. Thank you all.
