OpenGov Data publishes machine-generated text artifacts from publicly available local government meetings.

The goal is to make meeting records easier to inspect, search, and review.

Current artifacts may include VTT transcripts, sliced and normalized plain-text transcripts, deterministic Meeting Events, and generated summaries when available.

Meeting Events are public-reference artifacts assembled deterministically from machine-generated meeting records. They group actions, votes, discussions, public comments, presentations, reports, and other civic activity with supporting evidence and timestamp links.

Meeting Events may be incomplete, overlapping, or slightly redundant. They are not official minutes, legal records, or definitive proof that something did or did not happen.

These artifacts are experimental and may contain transcription, extraction, classification, grouping, or summarization errors. Important claims should be verified against the original public meeting recordings.
