OpenGov Data

OpenGov Data publishes machine-generated text artifacts from publicly available government meetings.

The goal is to make public meeting records easier to inspect, search, and review.

Current artifact types may include:

  • VTT transcripts
  • sliced plain-text transcripts
  • normalized plain-text transcripts
  • deterministic Meeting Events in Markdown and JSON
  • generated meeting summaries when available

Meeting Events are public-reference artifacts assembled deterministically from machine-generated meeting records. They may contain incomplete, overlapping, or slightly redundant entries.

These artifacts are not official minutes or legal records and do not prove that an action, vote, topic, or public comment was present or absent.

All artifacts are experimental and may contain transcription, extraction, classification, grouping, or summarization errors. Important claims should be verified against the original public meeting recordings.
